IAAO 600 Course (2019)

Registration for IAAO 600 is open.
To Register, go to the cvent site for the 2019 NCAAO Fall Conference

Register Here through CVent

Registration Instructions: On the first screen, you will enter your information and select Registration Type: Conference Registration (Local Government Only)
You will not actually be registering for the Conference, but this option will give you the IAAO 600 as a choice further in.
After you’ve entered your information in the first 2 screens, you have an Item Selection page. On this 3rd page, click the radial button to select IAAO 600 Principles and Techniques of Cadastral Mapping. The tuition is $600. Do not select either of the other options.
Continue through the remaining screens to confirm and register for the class. This is the same system NCPMA has used for registrations for over a year now. The site will allow you to pay with a credit card or to note that you will be paying by check. Note that you will be paying this to NCAAO, not to the NCPMA. NCPMA is a co-sponsor, but NCAAO will be hosting us for the class being held during their conference in Winston Salem.
Speaking of Winston Salem… If you need hotel reservations and wish to stay in one of the 2 host hotels where the conference and our class are taking place, the information is below:
If calling, be sure to request the rate for “North Carolina Association of Assessing Officers” Group block deadline is October 18th!
More rooms are blocked at the Marriott than the Embassy, and the Marriott rate is cheaper. At last check, Embassy showed the rate not available for the full time of the class.
If those room rates are prohibitive, I was able to find a Government Rate of $96 per night at Hotel Indigo Winston Salem Downtown, a brand-new property within easy walking distance. And government rates in the $71-75 range at Holiday Inns within a short drive. Note that whether you stay in the host hotel or not, parking in downtown Winston Salem is mostly parking decks and is not free.
If you have questions about registration or issues with hotel reservations, please contact Tina Stone at the NC Department of Revenue. Tina.Stone@ncdor.gov
